Not at all 😊 These are natural qualities of a real Shankh. Since every Shankh has been underwater for years, slight variations like holes, rough edges, cuts, or gaps are completely natural and proof of authenticity.

>Small sizes produce a high-pitched sound.
>Larger sizes create a deep, vibrating sound.
Choose based on the sound you prefer.

Shankhs from 12–13 inches and above are generally easier to blow. Smaller sizes require more air pressure and are trickier for beginners.

If you wish to replace your Shankh, kindly share clear photos of it along with your Order ID, Name, and Contact Number at:

It depends on what you’re looking for:
Peaceful & soothing sound → Gauri Shankh, Annapurna Shankh
Loud & sharp sound → Padam Shankh, Vishnu Vahan Garuda Shankh
Loud & bass-heavy sound → Vishnu Shankh, Vamavarti Vishnu Shankh
For Pooja & rituals → Dakshinavarti Lakshmi Shankh, Moti Shankh

Every genuine Shankh naturally has the ability to produce sound, and each piece is tested by us before shipping. If you’re having difficulty, it’s usually a matter of technique. With a little practice and the right blowing method, the sound will come through beautifully.

That’s perfectly normal 😊 Each Shankh is a unique natural creation, shaped over years underwater. No two Shankhs will ever look exactly the same. While the one you receive may differ slightly in color, shape, or texture from the photos shown, these variations are what make your Shankh truly one-of-a-kind.
