Shankhnaad – A Way to Breathe Deeper
The Legacy of Shankhnaad
For millenniums (1000’s of years), long before microphones and machines, warriors announced their presence with the sound of a shankh. From the Mahabharata’s battlefields to sacred temple aartis, It echoed through mountains and minds and was believed to purify spaces and spirits alike.
Why Blow the Shankh?
Blowing a shankh is a full-body act—rooted in the breath, strengthens the lungs, diaphragm, and voice. Spiritually, it is said to cleanse energy, bring focus, and invoke divine presence.
Who can perform Shankh-Naad.
Shankhnaad isn’t just for the devout or the disciplined. Children above 6, elders, athletes, voice professionals, spiritual seekers, regardless of gender—everyone can benefit. Especially in a post-COVID world, where lung strength and clarity are more important than ever. Whether you can blow it right away or not, our workshop will gently guide you into discovering your own breath’s strength.
